This particular sundial is both an attractive as well as functional addition to any backyard garden spot. But mine did arrive with two annoying production flaws that required attention before I could successfully assemble it.

Both of the bolt holes in the crescent part of the sundial were out of alignment when I received it, thus preventing the proper installation of the gnomon. Since I have a small shop in my garage, I corrected these two flaws by re-drilling both bolt holes, and re-threading the lower one.

I would still recommend this sundial to those who have the skill and patience to remedy such problems.

I would buy this product again.

This will be so GREAT on our beatiful mountain property, when we build, to replace the 'sundial' made of sticks by my husband!
